Why Set Goals?
One of the most important things to do is to set goals. Once you decide that you want to achieve a certain goal, you must write it down somewhere and then review it every morning. This will keep you on track and inspire you throughout your day.
Types of Goals
A personal goal is a long term, short term, or mid-term tactical goal that an individual has. Depending on how long the goal is and how important it is to the individual, they may choose to break it into smaller parts. There are three different types of goals: lifetime goals, short term goals and long term goals.
Creating and Tracking Goals
Keeping track of your personal goals is important. You will want to examine your current status and whether your goals are still relevant. You will also need to make adjustments to these goals depending on where you are in life. Change the goal if necessary, or make a new one if you have reached them.
Accountability and Motivation
Personally, I think that the most important part of my personal life is my health. I do not enjoy having unhealthy habits, so finding an accountability buddy to help me stay on track has been a big help.
