Personal Goals

Many people exist and have their own hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Everyone has a personal goal or two that they want to hit on their bucket list. In this article, we discuss some of the most asked about goals- marriage, college degree, weight loss- and provide ways to accomplish them all.

Why Set Goals?
One of the most important things to do is to set goals. Once you decide that you want to achieve a certain goal, you must write it down somewhere and then review it every morning. This will keep you on track and inspire you throughout your day.

Types of Goals
A personal goal is a long term, short term, or mid-term tactical goal that an individual has. Depending on how long the goal is and how important it is to the individual, they may choose to break it into smaller parts. There are three different types of goals: lifetime goals, short term goals and long term goals.

Creating and Tracking Goals
Keeping track of your personal goals is important. You will want to examine your current status and whether your goals are still relevant. You will also need to make adjustments to these goals depending on where you are in life. Change the goal if necessary, or make a new one if you have reached them.
Personal Goals
Accountability and Motivation
Personally, I think that the most important part of my personal life is my health. I do not enjoy having unhealthy habits, so finding an accountability buddy to help me stay on track has been a big help. If you don’t have anyone to be accountable with or if you just need a little boost in motivation, try getting involved in a healthy community such as Raising Healthy Freaks

Personal goals are a great way to help you focus on your future and how you want things to go. It’s important to do the hard work up front so that your goal is one that you can actually achieve. If you have put in the work, then the rewards will be worth it in the end!
